What Order should we give our speech in?

The Brides Father

The brides father will say a few words about his daughter; possibly sharing a short story with the guests. He may also pay tribute to his new son. At the end of his speech, he asks all the guests to raise their glasses, and proposes a toast to the bride and groom.

The Bridegroom

The groom will thank both sets of parents, in particular the brides parents, for their beautiful daughter. He also thanks the best man for his help and support; and all the guests for attending. At the end of the speech, he proposes a toast to the bridesmaids.

The Best Man

The best man responds on behalf of the bridesmaids. He says a few words about the groom, and pays a compliment to the bride. At the end of the speech, he may read out any messages from guests, unable to attend.
