I am delighted to welcome
you to meet Jonathan's fiancée Maria and her family (or Maria's fiancé
Jonathan and his family). They hope to marry next June, or sooner if they
find a house. It is lovely to see you all, and so many friends from their
old school and college and Jonathan's office (or from Maria's old school).
Thank you so much for your good wishes. I hope everybody's got a glass of
champagne -Have you? Good! Because I would like you to join me in wishing
every happiness to Maria and Jonathan.
