You do not need to pay for the airline fares of wedding party members for a destination wedding or any other wedding that involves travel. When a person agrees to be in a wedding, they agree to all of the costs involved, including their clothing, travel and accommodations. If they are unable to cover those costs they should mention it when they are asked to be in the wedding, not just before the wedding occurs. If the bride and groom have the money to pay for everyone's airfare and/or lodging, it is a nice gesture to offer to do so, but not required.
