Hello Heather,
For any church wedding, there are certain items of clothing that it's better not to wear. Some churches have policies against certain types of attire and others simply frown on women wearing strapless dresses, dresses with spaghetti straps or halter tops, and any skirt that is very short or very tight. Shorts shouldn't be worn to any wedding except the most casual one and men shouldn't wear a hat inside a church, particularly a baseball cap. Caps are not appropriate even at outdoor weddings unless they are extremely casual. |
