I am planning to get married in Winter (I live in Australia and our Winter is June to Sept (roughly) and I am lookign at about July) so a Cristmas theme is definately NOT what I want.
My fiance and I met in the snowfields here in Australia where he was a ski and snowboard instructor and I was a ski lift operator, we both had worked in the industry for many years (him for 12-15 yrs) and me for 6+ years.
So a Winter Wonderland/ Winter theme is PERFECT for us and I am after any ideas etc for winter wording for anything and everything involved in the wedding from invitation wording (this is a casual wedding and a small one), so formal wording is not needed and as we have both lost our mothers in the last 5 yrs together (we have been together for the last 10 yrs) and he has also lost in father in past and my mother and father divorced when I was 6 and I have not much to do with my real dad and ym mother remarried and I have a stepfather but we will be hosting our own wedding.
IF anyone can help with wording for invitations, vows, etc etc etc involving winter etc then I wowuld be most appreciative (I am finding it hard to find the wording I want (I want it to involve winter in the wording and in our vows as this season is important and sentimental to both of us and we want our special day to represnt this, and if it hadn't been for winter and the ski resort then we would NEVER have met (as we live in different states, and just happened to work in the same resort, for the same company (different branches) and it turned out, we even lived in lodges only 2 lodges apart (WEIRD HUH!))..
Thanks in advance
