It is fine to have only male attendants. When you do this, all attendants are called "honor attendants," such as "the bride's honor attendants" and "the groom's honor attendants." To enter, you might have the groom's attendants walk in with him, then have your two walk in one behind the other before you enter. At the end of the ceremony, they would pair up just as bridesmaids and groomsmen do to exit. All of the men would wear boutonierres.
During the ceremony, if you do not feel comfortable handing your bouquet to the person standing next to you, then place a small table near the ceremony area where you can place your bouquet. However, I have had older brothers who served as their sister's honor attendants and they wanted to hold the bouquet for her, so do what is most comfortable for everyone. |
