when the church has two isles, is it correct for the bride to enter the left side and exit the right side (if I am facing the preacher) or vice versa?

It is fine to do what you are suggesting. Churches with 2 aisles offer the opportunity to do some creative things, such as having both mothers escorted in at the same time. You might also consider having the bridesmaids walk in down one aisle as the groomsmen walk in down the other aisle.

| There is no one person who is responsible for seating either of the mothers. The bride and groom can choose anyone that they want to do it. Often, it is a son (brother of the bride) or a groomsman, but it doesn't have to be. If your father will be seated with you in the front row or pew, then he would be a natural choice to escort you, assuming that your husband is escorting the bride. If your husband is not wearing a kilt, he can also seat you, then exit and join your daughter. |
