My best man has recently decided to grow a goatee--good for him. His girlfriend likes it and he likes it, and of course I'm happy for them.
I, however, and my fiance, think he looks a little silly, and will look back 10 years from now and say "what was I thinking?"
My question is: can I ask him to shave? Is that rude? I don't think I would hurt his feelings--we know each other well enough that I'm not worried about that. But what if he says no?
It may seem shallow, but I had to ask... |

| You or your fiance can ask if he will shave, but, as you mentioned, he may refuse. If he refuses, there isn't much you can do. |
