| How do you word the invitations or the reception cards to let people know that not everyone that is invited to the ceremony will be invited to the reception? |

| Unfortunately, what you suggest is a MAJOR breach of etiquette. It is okay to have a small ceremony followed by a larger reception, but not the other way around. If you are unable to invite everyone to the reception, then you may need to reduce the guest list for the ceremony. |
