| HELP! I am meeting my "new" relatives and in-laws, etc for the FIRST time at a wedding in Manassas, VA--ceremony at the Catholic Church at 2pm with reception to follow at the FOXCHASE MANOR--cked out the reception site & I am wondering what sort of dress is appropriate for this oddball time of day---evening cocktail dresses are inappropriate for the church and too formal but the reception calls for something more than a "churchy" dress.....I have a dressy medium shade blue "wedding" reception dress with short sleeves and skirt ending just a the mid-knee--is it ok to wear or too summery?? and do I wear a shawl, bolero, jacket, or wrap???HELP ME..Perhaps a long sleeve darker blue silk floral print dress that comes to mid calf & has a elegantly draped neckline but not showing "cleavage??? Are matching suede shoes okay--very elegant with t strap and meduim heel--I am very tiny and have long blonde hair which I plan to wear up and pearls and my diamond wedding riings--that's it???? |
