Meal Ideas

The your DJ can use "Be Our Guest" (track 6 of Beauty and the Beast soundtrack) to introduce the meal.

For a buffet, your DJ can do music trivia or name that tune with people still sitting (to win right to go next for food). You may want your DJ to announce that guests should raise their hands and wait to be called on, and if they blurt out an answer without being called first, they may be helping some other table. Be sure to let the caterers and photographers know what you are doing in advance.

Can have tables sing love songs (maybe only one verse) to the bride and groom for the right to go next for food. Can prep tables in advance like having a table of kids sing the Barney theme (I love you, you love me, we're a happy family...), or having a bunch of ladies get up and sing "Stop in the Name of Love" (perhaps together with some Supremes-like choreography). Alternative can be a love poem. After doing song/poem, guest should clink glasses and bride/groom should kiss. Can vary this by having "stump the DJ" where DJ has to find the song they are signing and put it on. If they beat you, give some party favors to the table.

"Ladies and gentlemen. Right now we'd like to have all those romantic people come up to the dance floor while waiting for your food."

Keep playing slow songs throughout dinner.

Pass maraccas (or other item) around to each table. Pass item around to some song. When song stops that person has to stand up and say something to the bride and groom.
