Q.
My fiancι and I have been together for 20+
years. We are having a courthouse ceremony with only a couple of
relatives present. He is Jewish and I am Christian. I want to be
able to send out after wedding announcements using my own design, paper, etc.
I am just look for a sampling of short verses I could use to convey to
long-distance friends and relatives that we finally took the plunge.
A.
The return address on the announcements should be wherever
the two of you will be living if you are announcing the marriage.
If the bride's parents are announcing the marriage, at the bottom of the
announcement you can say, "They are at home at......." and list your address.
If you do that, you can use the parent's return address on the outside
envelope. Those who receive the announcement may want to send cards and
gifts, so your address should appear somewhere on the announcement.
Otherwise, your in-laws will be forwarding things to you.
