Response cards are optional, but convenient for guests.
They are also helpful for the bride, as she cannot be expected to know a final
count for the reception until she has received responses to her invitation. They
should be small cards engraved in the same style as the invitation, and should include a
self-addressed envelope, preferable stamped.
